With an experienced background in mechanical engineering, energy management consulting, virtual power plants and energy markets, Stuart brings a complementary blend of expertise to the NRG-ONE Team.

Stuart began his professional career as a HVAC project engineer working on the first 6-star green star office building in Sydney. From there, he moved into energy and carbon consultancy providing energy auditing and carbon strategy services to ASX200 businesses. Before his role at NRG-ONE, he worked with a Virtual Power Plant aggregator, helping large energy users to unlock new revenue streams and increase renewable power usage with demand response and battery energy storage.

In his role as Future Energy Lead, Stuart is passionate about helping customers make actual progress towards their net zero aspirations, moving beyond target setting and into project implementation. Harnessing NRG-ONE’s end-to-end service model, he supports customers to combine energy expertise, software, and project construction services to deliver real decarbonisation outcomes, simplifying and accelerating their journey towards net zero.
